Here's a little bit about Las Vegas Christian Church
Las Vegas Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian Church in the Las Vegas valley, with a mission to lead people into an extraordinary new life in Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible, which is the Word of God, and know that by following the teachings and principles in it all people can live a more full life. LVCC is led by John and AnnaMarie Walker who have devoted their life to ministry and have been blessed to travel the world speaking at numerous christian churches across the world.
Las Vegas Christian Church was started by John's parents, David and Cathy Walker, with just a handful of people in their home in 2000.
Now, we meet weekly in the Durango Professional Plaza near The Lakes on the west side of town. If you call Las Vegas home and you're looking for “a christian church near me”, we’d love to meet you at one of our life changing worship experiences! We hope you find that Las Vegas Christian Church is the community that you can call home!

What are your Sunday Meetings like?
Each weekend at Las Vegas Christian Church you’ll find a passionate atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, Biblically-based message. Because of the many benefits to children, families and the corporate church family, children over 4 years old are encouraged to stay with their parents for our main service, which starts at 10:30am. For information on child-focused classes, please see "What about my children?" below.
When are your meeting times?
Every weekend our main Sunday worship service starts at 10:30am. Before that, our Cafe opens at 9:15am and we host Sunday School classes for children 4-12 years old at 9:30am. We hope that you will join us for a continental breakfast while your children are in Sunday School! (Children under 4 stay with their parents during Cafe hours and have a class they can attend during the sermon of the main Sunday worship service.)
What is your praise and worship like?
We aim to be a place in the Las Vegas Valley where people can experience the Presence of God. Our worship team leads every week with songs that glorify Jesus and all that He has accomplished for us. We want to create an atmosphere where you can interact with God and experience Him for yourself.
What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you or have you stand up, but will definitely make you feel welcome. Our people will be excited to meet you and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to participate in all we can offer you on your visit, including some tasty food, fresh coffee and personalized prayer from an elder. Come check us out and see if we are the church family for you.
What about my children?
At Las Vegas Christian Church, children are a top priority.
For newborn to 4 year old kiddos...
During our main Sunday worship service, we have a Cry Room that is open and available for parents to take their fussy kiddo or for a mom to comfortably nurse her baby. It is safe, clean and has the live audio of the service playing. Also during our Sunday worship service, we have a staffed nursery open for our littles to be dropped off right before the sermon starts.
For kiddos 5 years old and up...
We encourage these kiddos to stay with their parents so they can learn how to listen, engage with the Holy Spirit and worship by watching their parents and other trustworthy adults in our church community.
We believe that kids are greatly benefited when they experience church with the entire family, instead of separating them from the "adults" when God's presence is felt and His word spoken. To help occupy their little hands, we provide each kiddo a small activity pack that includes a snack and quiet activity that goes along with the kids lesson of the day.

How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved, but the best way is to come before or stay after the Sunday worship service and have a cup of coffee or tea and a pastry from Panera Bread Company. We also have First Step Breakfasts regularly, where you can listen to our pastors share their hearts, the history of our church and their vision for the future. At these breakfasts, you also have the opportunity to ask any questions and connect personally with other folks.
Do you have a midweek service ?
Sometimes! We keep our mid-week schedule open so we can hear from the Lord to add an event or series of events, etc. We, as a specific church community, know that we have been called to build His church in creative ways. Because of this, we don't adopt popular ideas like home groups or demographic specific groups, just because that is what is expected or familiar. Please check our calendar or contact us to find out what's on tap right now!
What do I wear to attend your experience?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to button up shirts, and even an occasional tie, at our Sunday worship service.
